Pretty in Purple: The unexpected IT shade of fall is purple. It seems like every brand has released a new product in the royal shade. The breathtaking smoky eye above was created using the new Kylie Palette, but you can also achieve the look with Natasha Denona’s new Lila Palette ($129).
Monochromatic Vibes: Matching eyes to lips is a trend that doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. Slightly edgy, but extremely wearable, it’s the ultimate runway-to-real-life beauty trend. For the look above, Hung Vanngo used Marc Jacobs products: the Eye-Conic Palette in Scandalust ($49) and the Poutliner Pencil in Nude(ist) ($24). If you want to make sure the eye and lip shades are an exact match, try a multi-tasking product like Bite Beauty’s Multistick ($24), which you can use as a blush too.
Shine On: A matte lip will always be in style, but sometimes you just want to rock a good glossy lip. Gloss is majorly in this fall. Not a subtle gloss – a super-shiny, sparkly, ‘look-at-my-lips’ gloss. Rock it over a nude lip or wear on its own, there’s something so girly and fun about a shimmery lip. For added staying power, go over the look with your favorite powder shadow.
